| Expert Tip: | Since we'll be toasting right after the ceremony (10:00 am) and then jumping into wine and snacks, a good breakfast before the ceremony is your best friend ;-) |
| 10:00 - 11:00 | Ceremony Location: Standesamt (City Hall) Römer (See "A" in the "map" tab.) Address: Römerberg 23, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, Germany Please arrive here at 10:00 at the latest. We will show up just after 10:00 and need to be in the Standesamt by 10:15 so that the ceremony can start at 10:30. The ceremony will last about 30 minutes, followed by toasts and photos in the square outside. NOTE: Please be advised that the room inside of the building where the civil ceremony and signing of documents will take place can only accept 30 people. This saddens us very much, but most of our guest will have to remain outside of the building while we sign the papers. For that reason, only some members of our family can go inside. For the ones outside, one of our event coordinators will be transmitting live via Facebook to your phones. This event will last from 10:30 – 11:00. Therefore, please arrive no later than 11:00. |
| 11:30 - 13:30 | Wine and Snacks Location: Ristorante Questione di Gusto (See "B" in the "map" tab.) Address: Liebfrauenberg 37, 60313 Frankfurt am Main, Germany Our first stop after the ceremony is Ristorante Questione di Gusto, close to the Kleinmarkthalle, a few hundred meters from the ceremony. Here we’ll have some appetizers and wine. (In the Kleinmarkthalle, vendors sell local produce and international products.) |
| 14:20 - 16:20 | Boat Trip on the Main River Location: Primus Lines dock at the Eiserner Steg (See "C" in the "map" tab.) Address: Mainkai 39, 60311 Frankfurt am Main Join us on a relaxing cruise through Frankfurt on the Main river. (Drinks and food are not included in this boat trip, but will be offered nonetheless to the guests at their own expense) |
| 17:00 - 1:00 | Reception Location: Freigut Frankfurt Address: No street address, but check their website to see the location on the map or go to "D" in the "map" tab. The Freigut is located across from where the boat dock is (a white restaurant boat on the river). Just cross the Iron Bridge to get to the other side of the river (Sachsenhausen-Nord). | Seating and IDs: | As a fun activity to break the ice and help you meet our guests from all over the world, you will have the entire day up until the reception to find the person who has your name and seat number. That also means that you will be holding another guest's name and seat number. You will be given this slip of paper along with a wedding guest armband right before the ceremony at 10:00 am. |
